The Montessori Philosophy

The Long Island Montessori School philosophy centers on individualized learning. We believe children learn and develop at their own pace. When they are ready, children shouldn't have to wait for the "appropriate age" to learn.

As children are introduced to Montessori materials, they have the freedom to navigate their education according to their own unique needs and capabilities, fostering true early childhood development.

"Never do for a child what he is capable of doing for himself." — Dr. Maria Montessori
